## Name

**AuReadElement** - read data from an ExportClient element in a flow

## Synopsis

void **AuReadElement**(*server*, *flow*, *element*, *num\_bytes*, *data*, *status*)\
\
     **AuServer** \**server*;\
\
     **AuFlowID** *flow*;\

\
     **AuUint32** *num\_bytes*;\
\

## Arguments

- *server*

Specifies the connection to the audio server.

- *flow*

## Errors

**AuBadFlow**, **AuBadElement**.
