Array::map - Map a function across an array.

## SYNOPSIS

**\[b\] map(** *b(a) f, \[a\] xs* **)**

## ARGUMENTS

**f** The function to apply

**xs** The array

## DESCRIPTION

Returns the array created by applying function *f* to every element of *xs*

   xs = \["abc","d","efghij"\];\
    ys = map(length,xs);\
    // ys = \[3,1,6\]

or

   xs = \[1,-5,2,-7,-4\];\
    ys = map(abs,xs);\
    // ys = \[1,5,2,7,4\]
