# ALLEGRO\_AUDIO\_EVENT\_TYPE(3)

Allegro 5 API

## NAME

ALLEGRO\_AUDIO\_EVENT\_TYPE - Allegro 5 API

## SYNOPSIS

-

  ```
  #include <allegro5/allegro_audio.h>
  enum ALLEGRO_AUDIO_EVENT_TYPE
  ```

## DESCRIPTION

Events sent by [al\_get\_audio\_stream\_event\_source(3)](/al_get_audio_stream_event_source/3.md) or [al\_get\_audio\_recorder\_event\_source(3)](/al_get_audio_recorder_event_source/3.md).

### ALLEGRO\_EVENT\_AUDIO\_STREAM\_FRAGMENT

Sent when a stream fragment is ready to be filled in. See [al\_get\_audio\_stream\_fragment(3)](/al_get_audio_stream_fragment/3.md).

### ALLEGRO\_EVENT\_AUDIO\_STREAM\_FINISHED

Sent when a stream is finished.

### ALLEGRO\_EVENT\_AUDIO\_RECORDER\_FRAGMENT

Sent after a user-specified number of samples have been recorded. Convert this to [ALLEGRO\_AUDIO\_RECORDER\_EVENT(3)](/ALLEGRO_AUDIO_RECORDER_EVENT/3.md) via [al\_get\_audio\_recorder\_event(3)](/al_get_audio_recorder_event/3.md).

You must always check the values for the buffer and samples as they are not guaranteed to be exactly what was originally specified.
