## NAME

tee - pipe fitting

## SYNOPSIS

**tee** \[ **-i** \] \[ **-a** \] *files*

## DESCRIPTION

*Tee* transcribes the standard input to the standard output and makes copies in the *files*. The options are

- **-i**

  Ignore interrupts.

- **-a**

  Append the output to the *files* rather than rewriting them.
